280 corrected rwhp would rule. :)

BUT I've got a few tricks up my sleeve so we'll see what happens. Suffice it to say that if I break 300 rwhp I won't be TOO surprised. ;)

Have you snuck in a few mods on us? :D

I wonder what ill be runnin..lets see stock is around what 220 HP and 255 torque if I remember correctly from reading other posts. With FIPK, pullies, SCT tuner...hmmm even with the flows, in reality id probaby be lucky to gain 12-15 from those, prob more like 10...I know im gonna be all nervous the first time i hear my stang revving up on the dyno.. :D

I do remember reading people diff dyno numbers, what seems to vary is the torque numbers, im keeping my fingers crossed that i got one of those Wednesday mustangs that were built a little tighter than others...(fingers crossed)

I was just thinking about this..you gotta be loving revving that Cobra up to 7,000 grand, with that nice 32v'er you got :nice:

heh yea that damn thing revs HIGH!!! it's so much fun to drive...BUT I've developed the itch for more hp, so yea I've got some mods that I hope will have a good effect on the car :D

I think you'll pull 245 rwhp or so. I think your SCT tune will help out a lot..now you just need to open that intake up some more..plenum/tb will help, p/p the heads too and you'll make some killer numbers.

im quietly hoping for around that..a nice 270 torque would be nice, but dont wanna get the hopes up. I really did feel a nice difference after installing the SCT chip, that thing just jumps when you put it into third aggressively. :D

Your beast just wants more as the rpm's go up huh? That thing must breathe nice :nice: Whats the torque #'s on that stock?

yeah i have been planning on getting the plenum/TB combo, that would be a nice little before/after thing i could take the stang back to the dyno at JBA after i put that on..After that though, gotta stop, get some more suspension, and then somehow, someway STOP spending money and save for a supercharger :rlaugh: of course thats after the alum d/s i wanna get..and then.. :nonono: Can i make the madness stop though?? :D

the madness will never stop :nonono:
that aluminum driveshaft sounds like a good idea, i was thinking about that for my GT but ended up buying HP stuff instead :nonono:

stock at the flywheel i should have 320hp and 317 tq. BUT it seems that Ford underrated them (as usual) so the cars are dyno'ing higher :)

Wow, those are nice numbers that will be interesting to see what your putting down at the tires...I have an idea..check your pm's

My car's never been on a dyno and I don't plan on revving the snot out of the thing to see some numbers printed on a piece of paper. That being said.
I'm keeping my expectations low so that I may be pleasantly surprised.
Figure if a stock 5.0L can produce 200 hp, add the following:
mild porting to stock heads.
valve springs
cam
performer rpm intake
30lb injectors
190lph fuel pump
70mm TB
80mm MAF
6 to 9 psi of boost
MSD ignition
headers-hpipe-flows.
I'll be pleased to see 300 rwhp.

The only reason I went with an aluminum DS was after going to 3.73 gears I had a vibration and the DS took care of it. otherwise I don't tghink it's much of a performance mod for the money.

The alum D/S will allow you to transfer the power to the rear wheels quicker you will also bring your revs up faster plus not to mention the weight of it

Hmmm well I'm glad you mentioned that. I'm going to try and get my 3.73's in on the 21st. If I get any vibration I may have to get an aluminum D/S..do you know how to install them?

Bill, i would have to think that you should easily see 300+ ponies to the rear tires, but like you said dont wanna raise expectations. I would think the boost is what would shatter 300...Will be fun to see though..im wondering about mine too :D

awesome! :D

I am going to order an Eibach Pro-Kit for my car..do you feel comfortable screwing with an IRS spring install? :D

Hey, I feel comfortable screwing with anything.
the IRS just means you get to do one side at a time.
Maybe we can do it at someones house with air tools (hint, pierre, hint) otherwise we can tackle it in my driveway.

Either or would work for me. I'm going to order the springs tomorrow or tuesday and then hopefully we can set a date to put them in

I guess we'll know soon enough. :nice:

......... BTW; I found the problem with the idle, can't wait to try it out on the street and see if she can handle it.....My "injector low slope" was to low and running xtremly rich plus the fuel pressure was at 40 psi with vaccum on/off(problem w/ vaccum to fuel pressure reg.)
