just got her started again.....

well, as the title reads, i just got my car started again for the first time in nearly 3 months. i have made some changes to my combo during this time:

gt40 intake (ported lower), frpp 24lb injectors, bbk 70mm t/b, pro-m 77mm maf, frpp gt40x heads, scorpion 1.6 pedestal rr, tfs stage 1 cam, bbk o/r h, bbk u/l ceramic headers, flowmaster american thunder exhaust, tweecer r/t, fidanza flywheel

that is what is now under the hood. anyone want to guess what the car will make on the dyno?

with the stock heads, cam, rockers, maf, and no tweecer the car made 230.2hp 293.2tq at the wheels.....

I think it will make around 285 rwhp. Sounds like a nice combo! When are you going to get it on the dyno?

What's the cam timing like on the TFS stage one? Is it installed straight up? I've noticed that the TFS cams can make some serious power when advanced or retarded for a specific combo. My guess is 287/307.

Damn Green! I just noticed you are in Lauderdale.
I miss S.FL and can't wait to get back down there. I was stationed up here and can't wait to leave N.VA. I will be shooting on being back in the Fall or Winter just when the weather gets nice. Guess I'll be back down with the daggon Early/Snow birds! I lived out in way out in Weston and want to move closer to the beach by Las Olas.

im actually in west miramar. the car runs. have a small oil and coolant leak, but other than that, all is well. joe was a wuss and wouldnt let me spray the 100 shot though.

I didn't wuss. The car had been running for a whopping 5 minutes from being down a year. I was being cautious.

what joe isnt telling you is how we basically assembled his car from the block up last time after his first head gasket fiasco, bolted the s-trim and t-rex to it and went out and pounded on it at 12psi not even 20 minutes after we torqued the last bolt down.....

Well after Rog and I got my car running with S-Trim we went out for test drive. Car had about 3 inches of dust from sitting for 4 months. It was around midnight and a group of ricers revved at us. Rog after many beers says "you gonna let them get away with that"? We catch the lead car and proceeded to blow his doors off 3 times. Well after the last one his car was smoking and wouldn't start. We came back to help but his car was toast. Mitsu Eclipse V-6 with turbo kit plus nitrous. Rog found the car a month later sitting a shop getting repaired. The bill at that time was over $3500 in motor work alone. So today he says lets spray it. BUT and a big BUT, we didn't have nearly as many Heinekens today as that night.
