tight it looks nasty shouldn't have sold it...
The car had major issues. I worked on it for a month straight (all day every day) and got everything working. Fixed brakes (complete overhaul), A/C, Charging issues, Cooling issues, all new vac lines, clutch, seats, stereo, windows, locks etc etc. Then I decided to go over the chasis. The rad support was really f'd up. The torque boxes were ripped, the sub frames had cracks in them, the angle on the passenger side a pillar was wrong (look at the pic) and the car was sold to me as a GT but was an LX converted. Nothing worked right, I fixed it all including a new cluster as the gauges didnt work. It was a nightmare. After busting my ass the hood latch broke and the hood flew up and cracks the windshield, crushed the cowl and screwed up the hood as well as two dimples on the roof.
Insurance gave me like $4000 for it and let me keep it with a clear title. I put on the new hood and windshield. Fixed the cowl and got a new vent then sold the car on ebay for $7500

I even told the guy every issue and sent pics but he had to have it, he flew in from Oklahoma too. Sent me a certified check from Capitol One and I cashed at a Capitol one bank before he even showed up. Picked him up at the air port, he saw the car for the first time, loved it and drove it home.
Not bad for a car I picked up for $4500
And this is the one I sold to get that one. This is the car I painted the Ford emblem on the plenum blue.
