Just got my baby

Dosent matter if the alt gets wet, wont hurt it. And pretty much any foaming cengine cleaner will work. The Purple Power is cheap and as Ryan said when you buy the gallon bottle you can mix it with a 1 to 3 ratio and it will still clean great. I have used it and all of mine:

You are learning quick which shows you are not a dumb ass contrary to what your brother says :p
But seriously, the Fox is a great car to learn on. It will always have issues and they are usually easy to address and they help you inderstand what causes what. :nice:
When I have a kid of age I will get them a Fox as their first car cause it will teach them how to fix their own stuff :D
Besides you have a great lookin Fox that really dosent have that many issues :nice:

And thanks for the compliments, I have a huge love for the 4v Modular engines. Thing is I am more comfertable in a Fox. If I had the money I would love to build a 4V Fox
There is this guy I know at Texas Mustangs with a super sweet and clean 89 GT with 84K on her anbd he only wants $2800. The engine was blown after the trans rebuild but it cames with a fresh 5.0 but needs to be dropped in. I could prolly get $800 for the motor and mabey part my Lincoln out for another $2500 or so and drop the Teksid 4V in the Lincoln in the Fox and have a sweet ass car. Its just ALOT of work and the car needs to be a DD. A N/A in a Fox will prolly get me 28+ mpg and be reliable as hell though

you should do it... just drive your cobra during the build:D

then when you do have a kid old enough just give him the fox... or the cobra:nice:
I dont have the initial $2800 to do the purchase. Plus that would meen the Termi would have to sit outside during the build as the Lincoln and Fox would take up my whole garrage. Its tempting and I wana do it but I cant afford it. I love my Termi but between the insurance and the $1200 in tires it needs it keeps me from being able to do other projects :(
Bright side is I have my dream car that I can now afford to play with since gas went down over $2 a gallon!

wow that sucks... do you have a thread for it?

slow95gt go snag jons engine, and throw it in there, shoud wake it up a bit lol

just dont tell him.... or hell kick your ass!! lol

too bad it's rotting in a junkyard somewhere. even if i did find the place i wouldnt be able to buy it back. $ is everything

:(

I miss my car more than anything...

and that white plug looks like the IAT(intake air temp) sensor, look on the bottom of the lower intake to the right of the distributor for the sensor, its either that or the ect(engine coolant temp sensor) which would be on the coolant rail that runs into the lower intake and to the heater core.

i dont think that that's it because there is no length of wire to reach anywhere, especially to the lower intake. i found one under the air filter just like it that runs the length of the fender wall. i'm guessing that it the air bag sensors because i searched the front bumper and front QP"s and couldnt find anything that looks like a sensor
