Just got my Side Pipes in!!!!

I love that brown truck, i just got my borla/svo side pipes in! I was just wondering what all is involved in mounting these puppies up, or should I take them to a muffler shop to do them? I'm going to have my car painted after I get my hood and these things on. So, let me know what you think I should do, I havn't really even looked at them yet. Thanks guys

I hope you don't have subframe connectors, as side exit exhaust doesn't work with SFC's. Other than that I don't know.

Depends on how you do it. There are three sn95s out here is SoCal that have both with no issues at all. Trick is not to buy the kit. I will post some pics of the underside of my car when I get it done. I am doing the side exit with the subframes.

SpinTech makes subframe connectors with clearance for side exhaust, saw it a while ago in their ad in 5.0 and Superfords mag. Didn't list the price though.

FWIW...Dont mount them then paint it.....you'll get a paint line and it will tend to crack over time as those will flex....Should be painted along with the car, then installed later...

Side exits can work with SFC's, just not all SFC's. They fit easily with a thru-the-floor setup.

Here is the kit that works with subframes. Has a nice sound too. Its not cheap, but it is comparable to the others out there.
