K&N: fipk or filter charger

i have heard the fipk is a great intake sytem along with the 70mm accufab tb and plenum i am aiming on gettin in the near future. but anyways with the air silencer removed and a filter charger installed isnt this the same thing. which is the better performer?

I would think the FIPK those things are awsome.....i put one on my car and it made a good mid-range and top end difference
