K&N FIPK Problem

K&N FIPK owners: check the hoses inboard from the metal heat shield. Mine came in contact with the silver-metal air conditioning hose and rubbed a hole in it. Bye-bye refrigerent.

I took the car in for warrenty service and they found the hole and dried refrigerent all over the heat shield. The cool service guy said "Merry Christmas" and ordered the parts under warrenty anyway.

Just goes to show, those guys are pretty decent after all.
