if i were to come across an 03 cobra engine and tranny and complete wiring harness how hard would it be to transplant it into my 95? i'm not saying i have one or know where there is one at but just dreaming a wounderful dream! but it would be nice to have. BTW what tranny do the 03 cobras come with? peace

The (03) Cobra has a T-56 6 speed tranny, which is the Viper transmission minus a few changes like the input shaft.

A lot more details on that site, especially with the wiring harness and all the electrical hookups.

You might be better off just buying a '03 Cobra or building up a block yourself with a KB blower instead.

Edit:

www.karkraft.com has some pretty good deals on blocks and Cobra internals which you could piece together.

Given the harness requirements, intercooler plumbing, and so on ... I think it would be more cost effective to just buy an 03 Cobra. You can get 'em dirt cheap now.

Or build yourself a nice 408W and drop it in.

no misha! i was just courious on what it would take to do thought it would be kinda cool to do, and i seen a car in the mag with one in it. well it was a fox that had it! T-56? is that a tremic? peace
