King Cobra clutch feels quite heavy

Im in the middle of a tko upgrade and am just testing out the hydraulic clutch setup. Because of the booster and lack of space I have lots a little mechanical advantage at the pedal. I am running a 15/16 tilton 75 series m/c and 3/4 slave cylinder. I find (so far) that the pedal effort is quite substantial and alot heavier than I'd like. Just wondering if its normal with a Valeo "King Cobra". It's spec'd as a 10.5" Ford Pressure Plate with 1,820 lbs. static 6,800 RPM shift capability

Also if you know where I could get my hands on a >= 1inch slave cylinder let me know, I want to soften the pedal a fair bit more.

I found the King Cobra pp to be quite light - feels nearly stock with a JMC hydraulic clutch setup (sorry, I don't know the master and slave bore sizes off hand).

I just found out that the slave is 3/4 rather than the 15/16 i thought it was. . That means if my calcs are right that I've induced 156% extra pedal effort (and slave travel) as compared to a 3/4 & 3/4 setup

my old king cobra in a fox body felt near stock on pedal effort, held up well for me. no good advice for you but hope things work out.

Ditto. Same setup here and the feel is very nice. Just a tad stiffer than my 07 GT.

Thanks guys. Looks like I'll have to swap either the slave or the master cylinder
