Picked up a headlight relay harness so i don't have to worry about my headlight switch melting for the 1 or 2 times a year i might drive it at night:

Not sure if it will make any difference but I picked up a TurboCoupe PCV from RockAuto.
Probably snake oil, but i gave the Lucus Oil Engine Flush a shot. Drained my existing oil, added new O'Reillys oil and the additive, let it idle for 20 minutes, drained oil again. For being brand new oil it did come out black as if it was old. Now i will refill with the Valvoline Restore and Protect and a new Motorcraft filter.
They supposedly flow a little more but I've never tried testing them myself. I think the one I run is for an 80's a Turbo Supra.
Someone online blew through a TurboCoupe PCV and a stock 5.0 PCV and was saying the stock 5.0 one seemed like he could blow more air through it. So who knows.
I found when I was updating the 'road or draft tube' on Brand X to a PCV system, that those PCV valves have different vacuum sizes. So there's that tidbit of useless help.
I think I’m gonna find a way to add a catch can that I can easily remove for CARB/SMOG appointments. Only once every other year so shouldn’t be too bad.

I don’t know your brand so I couldnt look in advance but I see they make “rain guard kits” for various hood louvers. Seems expensive though.
Outdoor car cover will do the trick also.
Some folks made louver covers with vinyl to cover them and held down with magnets. There are a few creative solutions online.

‘Normally’ this would have garage priority, but we are doing a massive home remodel very soon and our garage is full of bins packing everything up. The house we are moving to, we are getting a deal on rent but part of the deal is they get the garage and driveway.
Not an ideal situation but the rent deal was too good to pass up considering we have our mortgage, childcare for two kids, additional rent, and normal bills for the next 9 months. Gotta do what you gotta do.

Awesome thanks for doing some digging on my behalf. Anything would be an improvement over my cut up Sprouts grocery bags held down with painters tape.
Ordered the J&L Oil Separator. Its for the passenger side, but i'm going to try to make it work on the drivers side to be more hidden.
Damn, rental owners backed out 1 week before we were supposed to move. It’s an understandable reason but this sucks. Now we had to scramble to find a place to live before construction starts, so with my parents it is. They live in a condo complex so there will probably be zero wrenching for the 7-9 months we are there.
Sorry to hear this. We will miss your updates and your progress reports. It was fun to follow. Family comes first so take care of what really matters in life and pop back to say hello whenever you can. Good luck with the renovations. Sounds like awesome work is happening over there.

Thank you! I will still be active and do what I can, there are little things I can hopefully take of here and there. I do plan to just drive the car more, ideally. Maybe you’ll just see more posts in the “photos of car” thread lol
Definitely, we are adding a second story and just about doubling our square footage. Growing family requires more room and it’s cheaper to add than buy a new home, plus we love where we live.
For the 5lug guys, what to you do with your 4lug spare? I’d hate to throw it out, I’ve put it on FB marketplace for free with no bites. Toss it?
