So I just got done with my new wideband install and just did some idle testing to make sure its functioning. The tuner will be working his majic on Tuesday but after that I would like to tweek it for normal driving. He will have it great for loaded and WOT AFR but I may want to lean it here and there for around town driving. So what target should I set. I figured I was gonna shoot for an off boost AFR of 14.7 give or take.
I am about to go see where shes at at WOT in a few minutes right now but its not really gonna matter since the cars tune is set for 16psi and now all I see is 8.

it will be around 15.5-16.0 under normal driving, under med throttle i would like to see around 14.0 and then a good 11.40-80 at WOT..

dont really worry too much about the afr when your just putting around..

mine runs at 15-16ish while cruising , 11.3-11.8 while WOT , think they are the ideal setting really.
and most gauges go 14.7 when they are unhooked so you might want to watch out for that

Boost has no effect on the engines CR.

I mean you personally didn't lower the compression for the Charger, you know a thicker headgasket, or destroker kit.

No. Its still 9.9:1 or 9.8:1 or 10:1. Sorry, I have found all three as being the "true" CR for the Mark. Anyway that range is just fine for 10-12psi with no forged internals as long as the IAT stays below 200* under full boost. I see 190* at full boost now and around 140* just cruising on 100* days and thats without an intercooler.

Down the road I am gonna throw a 96+ Cobra crank in a Teksid and some C heads with 03/04 rods and forged pistons to drop the CR to 8.4ish and run a 3.4 whipple at 20psi and have a 700rwhp super sleeper. But it will also have a T56 then too.

I've always gunned for 10.5 at wot as "safe" on pump gas. Some run leaner, but safe is good. Ideally gun for 13-13.5 or so before getting in boost under throttle, and at idle around stoich (14.7) but leaner is ok.
