line locks

hey guys, i'm tired of haven to hold the brake and do the clutch'n, gas, etc to sit still. then i gota smell my brakes beeing burned up. I'm to the point where a line lock kit would suit me. i'm not sure as to what one to go for though? or how many ppl like them...
i've herd of the roll controle (forget who makes it) btu i'm open for suggestions, and if you dun care prices you guys picked em up for. thx you all be allota help with what parts to get or not and they have all been worth it. so i went stait to here this time!!!

roll control by hurst, that's what i have, and i believe most people use, it's about 100 bucks or so, and you need some brake piping, and a bender.

hrrrmmm, yeah i was looking at that one again, uit seems to be the best. hurst makes a good product. Where do i get the brake lines from (any autoparts store)? and what type, i'm guessign the reg metal tubeing, and are there any connectors i need other then what are provided...

I think summit has an install kit you can buy to go with the loc.

Your welcome, but seems no need to be plural here, i was the only person replying, lol.

Also remember it's a confusing install, even some more than capable engine guys, pay to have their line loc installed.
Because if you mess up, you have no brakes.

yeah sorry about that 2000, a few others i have tlaked to b4 said they are a pain to install as well. I'm not sure why though? I'm guessing to get all the fittings bent correctly?? The wireing shudl be no prob. I'm def gunna do it myself (i'm a cheep @$$ plus i like to know i can) any suggestions b4 i'm knee deep in brake fluid on the install?

The install kit from Summit is totally worthless. I think I needed like 2 pipes out of the whole bunch. Just go buy the lines from a part store. They will cost you nothing compare to that kit.

Also you need to have the tool to "bubble flare" or "double flare". Both exist but I dont remember which one it is. I got the TCI linelock.

I bought the hurst kit and love it. I also bought the summit line kit for 30.00 and i agree you only use a few lines but I would rather pay the 30.00 dollars and have all the parts.

Did you guys get one kit from Summit to install the Hurst linelock, or did you get both kits. One of them has all the adapter fittings that are needed for the Mustang.

yeah thats true, i saw the other kit. maybe it's better to get the mustang kit and just by the pipeing?
