or maybe bolt a milk crate to the driver's seat rails, gut the entire car of all features and sand that ugly paint off your car? Maybe you should just not eat for a week before you go to the track?

airbags????wtf....come on now, for the one or two pounds that they weigh they're worth more than that in gold if you hit a wall on the track or anything on the road

Granted, I do think your crazy if you remove the airbags and drive the car on the street, but there is much more to lose than one or two pounds. My guess is that they are closer to twenty between the two of them. They aren't as light as you think.

Not to mention the fact that they could decapitate you upon removal if that gunpowder decides to burn !

You know, Im all about dropping pounds to go faster, but lets look at that original list. Your talking about taking off some MAJOR safety and structural components... Removing the Front ABS sensors??? Lets be serious, they weigh less than a half pound each, and without them, the ABS is now non-functional. Why not remove the rest of the ABS system? Air bags... well thats just dumb.... strut tower brace? Do you have any idea how much torsional stability that provides to the vehicle? then I find it amusing that your going to remove the ABS sensors for every day use, but keep the rear spoiler on till track time.

Like I said, Im all about droping pounds, but if were going to compile a list of things to take off, lets be serious about what we remove, dropping pounds is good, but not if it affects the performance or safety of the vehicle.

No, how much? Please quantify it and tell us how you arrived at that answer. As of lately, I've started to wonder if the STB does much of anything except add weight.
