It was just 30 days. Since he decided to sign up again and complain to the Staff, it's now a permanent ban on his original account and the new one he just signed up with (multiple accounts are not permitted per the site ToS).
Mark, you know that the weather is getting nearly perfect for me to bring out the car I have a few more parts to come in (head install kit was on backorder for certain parts..likely the head bolts). I will be going to Tommie Vaughn to pick up an oil pump soon since the local dealer doesn't quite understand what I am wanting. Hopefully the car will be kicking around soon though it will be on my "stock" tune until I get it on the rollers and check the a/f ratio.
glad the car is coming along. I can't wait to see it. I'll be there at the track on the first night. Too bad you guys didnt have a truck, those drag radials are long gone.
I haven't purchased the flowtechs as of yet--still just considering it I know I will regret putting it together without them so I am sure as everything starts coming together I will convince myself to just take the hit and purchase them. I will mod my prochamber to work with it, as I don't want to use an X pipe or even an H. The Prochamber is a lovely setup and hard to not like. I imagine it will be still quiet with the flowtechs, prochamber and the magnaflows
I'll likely buy some CHEAP 15x8s or maybe some v6 mustang rims to throw some radials on. Since I am OBESE I have to lighten the car as much as possible haha
I'd get them. A tenth or more and 1mph is hard to come by in these cars once you have the car dialed in. I just don't see you breaking into the 12's with untouched heads and stock cams with no longtubes. Go big, your gonna need it! Watch out for those cheap heavy steel wheels, an entire rebuild of the rear will be in the works!
Little faith I see The car will be where it needs to be, just make sure the vette is ready
The car was running 13.7s in the heat, so one can only hope with this work + the cold weather that it'll break out of the 13s. The tune could very well be the deciding factor. If not--it's just a few more parts away
The transmission is ready for the abuse--the rear is about the only thing I will eventually get a problem with, although I don't fear it. Everything "looked" good while installing the 3.73s though its always possible to break an axle. If it snaps--I will blame you.
