Hey he asked what would make his car loud, and that is the recipe. Don't you dare tell me to go home, you only got 3 posts....BUDDY.
Oh and why don't you hear it before you pass judgement....believe me, flowmaster ISN'T the best muffler.
Spintechs i hear are really nice sounding mufflers, but i haven't heard them yet. Anyone with sound clips of them, please post, i've been dying to hear them.
Thanks

They all differe between 1-5 hp in difference.....are you reallly going to miss it? Find as much clips as possible. Try to listen in person as thats the only way. Decide on sound...performance at this point is neglible.

I always have to chime in with the muffler questions. I prefer spintechs because they rumble at idle, and are loud up high with an x-pipe, heres that damn video:

My two cents - louder aint better. Tone matters. If you want a high pitched raspy exhaust, get yourself a Honda, screwdriver and hammer. Now punch many holes throughout the exhaust system. There you go.

To each his own.

You want sick LOUD?!! Try Magnaflow's Magnapacks. Not the regulars, the packs. . . . All stainless, and about the same price as flows.

If $450 to $500 is about the same price as $250 to $300, then please feel free to mail me the difference (seeing as it's so insignificant).

Just go with S pipes instead of mufflers. It won't be deep and will be loud.

spintechmufflers.com

They are a TAD bit more expensive but they are worth it....the tone you will end up with will be like no other. I say if you want it to YELL...get a Dr.Gas x pipe to go along with it.

Another vote for Dynomax Bullets. Loud and higher pitched especially with an x-pipe.

But IMO, don't do it. You'll just get laughed at for being another loud mustang with little bite. Fast cars have an excuse to be be loud, slow cars don't.

I've got Spintech Pro Streets. I found their website online...ordered easily over the phone...they came promptly. However, it sounded SWEET for a few weeks...now it just sounds like ass at cruise. Nothing is loose inside....doesn't seem like a baffle broke..but I don't know. The sound changed entirely in the 2000-3500 rpm range.

It sounds WICKED at idle though...like ungodly. I've had a few people ask me about it....sounds very dragster-like. Deep, flat, loud, and slightly metallic....and when you really rev it up, it sounds UNREAL. When I first got them on I romped it twice through a residential neighborhood......my mistake....and I had neighbors actually RUN outside their houses cursing at me threatening to call the cops.

My only complaint is for just cruising around, it sounds ****ty in the drone-range... Real burbly and metallic and raspy. But in the high revs....it's like nothing you've heard before.
