I have Eibach Sportlines in the front and Roush springs in the rear, and yes, my car rides around like a sled on pavement, even more so after i took out my front isolators.
What shocks and struts did you put in? are they adjustable? if so, you should check out the setting.
Also, if you have low profile tires, it makes it a little bit stiffer than it would be if you had the stock rim/ tire combo. Then, lowering the car with stiffer springs usually amplifies the effect by a little bit as well.
you dont see the benefits?.... reduce body roll/more control through turns/ increased responsiveness and of course looks... to name a few.
its a mustang. its going to be bumpy when you lower it. maybe something could be wrong with the shocks??? dunno. sorry to say, but its not going to feel like an m3 either way.
someone else created a thread about this also a little while ago when they conservativlely lowered their car, but found that it was "too bumpy."Assuming that all the parts you put on the car were in good working condition and that everything was installed (stock or aftermarket isolators and bushings), you're just experiencing what it feels like to drive a lowered ford!

I just upgraded my suspension on my 03 GT this past weekend with Roush lowering springs, shocks, struts, and CC Plates. My question is how rough is the car supposed to ride? I mean I expected a slightly rougher ride with the stiffer suspension but I'm bouncing around like I'm inside a popcorn machine. Is this normal? Do all authentic Roush Stage 3's ride like this?
Also my car feels a little sluggish now. Like it drags when I step on the accelarator. Not as quick as it used to be. Could the new suspension be putting a strain somewhere?
No. The drop has nothing to do with the Sluggishness. It is probably the heat. My car is very effected by the temp.
Do you have any sound clips of your exhaust? I have a similar setup, but want to change to the Spintechs or Flomaster 80 series... Let me know.
