Lowering set-up... Will this work?

Hi, I'm planning on lowering my 69 and here's what I have in mind. Please let me know if this will work or not:

Front:
620 springs and maybe cutting a 3rd coil to drop a little bit more
17x8 wheels 4.75 backspacing with 235/45 tires

Rear:
4 or 5 leaf reverse eye
17x9.5 wheels 5" backspacing with 275/40 tires

Will this work without any rubbing?

620's will lower ur car 1 inch. anything lower is getting close to the lip with 17's so u might want to consult dodgestangs wheel fit guide.

 

[Hack]

A little OT here, but I think you should do a Shelby drop before cutting the springs. Then you can still cut the springs if you want. The Shelby drop will improve the suspension geometry at the same time as lowering the car.

Sorry but I don't know about the tires. I still have stock stuff on mine.

Pardon my ignorance. I'm new with this cars. I've been trying to search on the shelby drop but can't find more details. What exactly is a shelby drop and where can I get these parts that are needed?

Thanks you so much for the link. I guess I should just keep it at the 620 springs in able for me to keep the 17x8 wheels.
