I have a 98 GT that i'm thinking of doing a complete exh system ie:headers to tails. I was wondering if its worth the effort of the LT's on my basically stock motor. Currently its got a BBK cold air kit and 75mm throttle body and 3.73 gears. Is there a major difference between LT's and shortties or is it minimal. I am planning on an off road pipe but my car has to go through emissions and i really don't want to buy cats on top of it, just do a quick swap with the original cats if i go with shortties. Also what is the best muffler choise that is price friendly. Should i go with tails or should i go with dumps. Overall i would like a mean sounding system that didn't cost me a small fortune.
