Lubricating Injectors

Any ideas of what to use to lubricate the o rings on some brand new injectors.
Autozone didn't have anything and told me to use KY or Vaseline. Don't have need for either one, so not in the house. Does that sound right??? Any other suggestions? Dielectric grease, lithium grease?

use petroleum jelly or clean motor oil

I use petroleum jelly or clean motor oil.

The lubricant needs to be compatible with the O-rings. I would be concerned about silicone grease degrading the O-rings.

Yup, motor oil.

THANKS I have plenty of morot oil. Going to put it back together now.
