Lugnut Torque Settings

Does anyone know what I should torque down the lugnuts to on a 2002 Ford Mustang GT? I just bought some new Bullitt rims and want to torque them correctly. The guy at the dealership thought it was 100 Ft Lbs, but was not sure. He was just leaving for the day so he did not have time to verify it. Does this sound correct? Thanks in advance. BTW, just joined, great site!

Phil

I too, wanted to torque my rims to "factory specs", but couldn't find the numbers anywhere. I ended up doing what everyone else does, and just tightening them down till it "feels" right.

Actually...

Actually Ford recomends that each lug nut be tightened to 75ft-lbs in a star-pattern...then torqued to 85-89ft-lbs in a star pattern. The locking nut should not be more tight than that, ever, or as mentioned before you will strip the key and then not be able to get any of the lock-nuts off. I'm only the messenger so direct all corrections to Ford, please. :)
