Hi,
I purchased GT skirts for my LX (purchased years ago and had them painted) so when the time came I can convert my 90' LX to a GT.
I purchased the brackets etc and today I went to install the front bumper and noticed that the passenger side of the bumper sticks out more than the driver side (see photos). I assume I have to perhaps heat this side and make it mold to where it should be (stick out further).
I also noticed that the urethane piece that connects to the fender and bumper has three holes for screws. These holes do not exist on the fender so again I assume I must use sheetmetal screws.
I also have a bracket that was on the LX bumper but can't seem to find a place for it on the GT bumper. Is there a bracket in between the GT bumper and the fender?
My tire 245/45/17 rubs at the bottom corner of the fender so I assume I have to have this rolled. If so, would it be easier to do this before installing the skirt that connects to the fender/bumper?
Hope I made some sense of this and someone chimes in.
Thanks in advance.
