LX's convince me PLEASE!!

It all depends on what you like.

As far as looks go:

The Fox Chassis GT’s after 1986 have a stylish look. The ground effects and cheese graters give it distinction. They basically had two body styles.

Most of the LX’s offered a clean and sedate look. If you want a sleeper that weighs about 100lbs, less the LX is for you. They basically had three body styles.

The only loud looking LX I ever remember was that yellow 1993 Special Edition Convertible.

Now, the Cobra trim is another ballgame. I love the look of the cobra. It has the style but is so cleaned up. I think ford should have just thrown the SN concept downt the drain and made the Cobra the GT and made them instead from then on. The Cobra's front has the grille, the rear has the pipes and doesn't come down so far, the GT's rear skirt is deffinatly a skirt. The sides are cleaned up as well as the front fender extention so it doesn't have those annoying flares. I like the salleen front clip as well.

On my conversion, I also left off the side moulding between the fenders on the doors. The wheel wells break it up from the rear so it doesn't look like something is missing. Those mouldings remind me of those things on the side of the refrigerators at the grocery store to protect them from shopping carts.

For those who love GT's, they still look good, just not my taste. I wanted a LX but ended up with a GT, it wasn't that big of a deal but "if only it was a lx" so that changed, because I could.

what can i say...... i like to look at it. everyone else should too
