I'm finally buying a pair tonight and wondering what tire pressure everyone runs - both track and street. These are 255/50/R16's going on pony rims. Thanks!
I don't run mine at all on the street, but I run them at about 20-25psi at the track. You don't need to dump a lot of air out of these tires to make them hook. Their radial case makes the side wall sturdy enough that its not going to wrinkle like a bias ply no matter how little air you're running, so dropping them down to 12-15lbs like you would a true slick does nothing but make the skittish at the top end. I’ve got a set of 27x10.5’s on a set of 15x7 wheels.
