Fox March Performance Alt/ps Brackets

My .02 cents:

That kit uses a tensioning rod in lieu of a traditional spring loaded factory tensioner. This kit is way overkill and likely rather expensive. If you search the forums here you can find some diagrams to use your stock brackets and figure out the proper length belt for your setup. Fwiw a 3g alt will fit in that style bracket if you so choose to use them.

+1, getting rid of the automatic belt tensioner for a manual one is a step in the wrong direction. My Detroit car has manual belt tensioners, which of course don't change tension for hot and cold. If you don't mind listening to belts squeal it doesn't matter.

With my Stock engine running with alt/ps my tensioner wouldn't apply enough tension to the belt,I used that diagram showing that I need a 70.5 inch belt and my alternator was only putting out 11 amps. I also had the ps relocation bracket too.
