For the Ford manufactured MAF's, the computer has the calibration for the injector size, not the MAF. The only way to get it to work properly is a wideband O2 sensor & a Tweecer. It would be easier & cheaper to buy an aftermarket 24 lb MAF.
Why don't you just get a MAF housing of a thunderbird supercoupe and use your sensor in it?? The supercoupd housing has a larger opening than the 5.0L. The outside of the housing is the same size. It is undecetable when you pop the hood. You can tell everybody it is stock.!!
JR is right, you will need to change the MAF Transfer and the only way to do that is in the computer. The TwEECer is a good option, as it is well supported and widely used. Ok, that isn't completely true, but it is widely used.
If you don't want to go this route, the best bet for selling it would be through one of the tuner forums. Those guys seem to love the large factory MAFs.

I believe that this would not work for the same reason the 80mm MAF wouldn't work. If the ID of the MAF is different than the stock MAF tube, then changes will need to be made in how the computer interprets the voltage signal from the MAS (the black sensor).
