People underestimate those. They pull really hard up top. Chris also beat a 99+ vert on the street that ran 14.2 that same night. They raced from a roll as well. If you are going to race out do it from a dig.

Well the 300C is just the name, you can get it in a v6 or a Hemi V8. From a roll you'll get him. Don't know about the highway 345hp is nothing to sneeze at so don't underestimate him.

The one you really need to look out for is the SRT8. This one comes to the table with 425hp. Take a look.http://www.allpar.com/cars/lx/srt8-chrysler.html

I actually raced a 300C at LACR in Palmdale, CA a few months back. IIRC it ran a 15.4 at 2500 feet. I think thats around a 14.8 corrected. I'm not sure what all the magazines tested it at, but I think they ran faster then that. Driver probably just wasn't very good.

From a dig you should have no problem (4600lb car) but from a roll be careful, 390ft lbs is some serious tq

The 300 is the V6, the 300C is the hemi. And you mean from a dig you will get him. Those are nasty from a roll.

I raced a Ram SXT or something like that (they have way too many different kinds of 1/2 ton pickups). Anyways, it has 3.90 gears or something and he took me off the line. Granted, it was his auto vs. my auto with stock gears. Anyways, he jumped about 5 car lengths on me (god I hate my auto!) before I matched his speed. Then he was ahead of me up to about 100 mph when I finally caught him, but wow, I was shocked. He turned a 9.8 in the 1/8 yesterday also, which isn't too bad for a pickup truck.

both the 300C and mag wagon are about 4100. That is curb weight. That doesn't count 22s either. When Chris took me in his, he had his wife and kid in the car. I think Haley actually waved bye bye to me as he pull on me. lol. But the weight of Chris's car would have been about 4600 lbs. I was by myself when we raced. Just so you guys get an idea his car weight at about 1000 lbs more than me. I stock 300C will be a little faster.
