No, there is a disclaimer about the adjuster, like if you turn out too many times or over torque the bolts that hold the transmission linkage to the shifter it can break, plus i didnt care for the mgw that much its a well made shifter but too sloppy and quiet for my taste, so i went ahead and went got a different shifter the 5.o is def more firm and notchy which i like.
I don't see any disclaimer. Can you post it? I'm not doubting you, I just can't find it. I'd be willing to bet that had you called MGW they would of replaced it and probably asked you to send it back so they could see what broke and if they needed to improve on their design. MGW LTD is one of the best businesses I have ever dealt with in my life. What do you mean by sloppy? I think the MGW is very firm and positive. It's quiet and not notchy like the "Hurst style" shifters but that's personal preference.
