I don't know how many of you guys have heard about this (I stumbled across it on FourEyedPride), but MarvoMont is at it again apparently- this time with 18" 10 Hole wheels. 17" are supposed to follow, and then a new version of the current PonyR, and there is talk about a 17" turbine as well. Pics (computer renderings) and links below.

I thought the exact same thing, because I just bought wheels too. Oh well, I have no desire to run 18s on my car, and I'm sure it will be a year or more before we see 17s. Still a cool idea, and maybe a few years down the road I'll buy a set.

Guess I'm the only one who thinks they will look goofy. I personally think they won't look right at all, and a 16", or some wide and narrow 15"s would have been a better idea.

To each their own, I just feel they will look more like an ugly aftermarket wheel than a reproduction (but larger) factory one. The Pony Rs work well as they went up one size, and the design lends itself to it. The 10 holes do not, the turbines, mayybe.

Brian, I wish I knew if you where right, and you might be. I'd love to have them for my foureye since they are foureye correct. I'd send two of them out to weldcraft instead of my 93 Cobra rims and get em stretched to 12'' for the rear.

Terry, I think some stock or stockish 10 holes welded up 12" wide would look great on that car. I really feel a 16" version would be the best bet. It would modernize them some, and not distort the look.

I hope I'm wrong in my opinion, and they end up looking great!!

I think they will look pretty cool. I hope they go with it. After my car is done I am gonna be looking for a nice stocker to do a very very very mild set up keeping the car mostly stock with wheels, exhaust, gears, suspension, and a shifter. A set of 17 inch stock wheels would be so cool.

I don't like the 10 holes in 15" very much, but the 17" above look worse. They screwed up the shape of the holes too much.

The Pony R's are perfect though.

Will they have a "machined" finish like the originals? I've always liked 10-holes but I too am a bit skeptical about how these will turn out. With that said, kudos to Demetrio for the work he has done. Still waiting to see those Black Pony R's.

They better stick a running Pony in that center cap, because with it being plain....it looks plain.

17" turbines might look awesome, the turbines have a nice old school muscle car look to them. I'm not a fan of ten holes I have to wait and see the 17" version on a car before I can judge.

+1! I wanna see them on a car, and then have the car turn corners and hit curbs, like all the roads have. Turn, bump, scrape, gouge, then &#?ing rims tore apart my tires AND fenders! 18", 17 maybe. Good idea, I love 10 holers, but I hope the artist drawing is whats throwing them off, cuz something don't look right

I personally don't like 10 holes at all, just making them bigger makes me hate them on a larger scale..LOL

Honestly, a bone stock mint car does look good with its factory equipment, but just not my cup of tea.

I think it would be sweet on a restromod car. Imagine being able to fit big brakes behind stock-appearing 10-holes on a car that originally came with 10-holes (like mine). Couple that with the ability to run staggered sizes (can you say, "mini tub"?), and you could have one sick performing yet factory-original appearing ride.

I mean, seriously, how sweet would 315s wrapped around factory looking 10 holes hiding 12" disk brakes be? Its like the Fox that Ford should have built.

That's all if MarvoMont pulls off the wheels right, of course.

Turbines would be OK, my biggest beef with them was the ugly center section. I wonder how they would look in 5 lug.

I will go and grab the photo someone had of some 17 or 18 inch draglites. To me they looked awful, and is what I expect these to look like. I do understand the idea with them, but then again I just think the 10 hole style is the wrong style to make an 18" rim out of.
