Well, I thought I was going to get one of those paxton kits with a bonnet or a hat or a box, now, I am not so sure.

I am looking at something a little different like a 471 or Weiand 177 or even a 671. Id like to make about 10psi of boost on a 331 stroker engine with TW heads and cam. My compression is about 8.5:1.

How much boost is a 471/177/671 good for? I dont mind cutting a hole in my hood. This is also just a cruiser/show car.

Does anyone have any pictures of these blowers on a 302? I have seen pics of a 177....but cant seem to find anything on a 471 or 671.

The 174/177 Holley/Weiand usually come with about 5 or 6 lb pulleys and might max out at about 9 I think. I like the look of a 6-71, but it looks rediculous with "skinny" tires in the rear.

know of any pics of a 671 in a classic stang? I thought blown65 had one posted on here a while ago, but I cant find it. My tires are 275 wide in the back...still kind of skinny, but...who knows.

I would love a 6-71, but only if my car was tubbed.

Plans include a 4link set with some wider tires. Probably 335s

Depending on what Tire you get a 275 will be able to hook quite a bit of power. Of course suspension mods also have to be considered. I wouldn't laugh if I saw a blower sticking out of a hood if it had 275's in the rear.
