Mustang II

These rotors pop up on Ebay quite a bit, Keep your eyes peeled and you can score a pretty good deal there.

The other way Ive heard (for the rear) is to get axles out of a Ranger with a 5-lug. But I didnt pay too much attention to all that. Do a search in the stangnet archives, theres a few threads about this very subject.

:nice:

The cheapest way would be to get some aftermarket stock replacement 5 lug rotors and get the rear axles and drums redrilled to 5 lug by a machine shop.

Thanks for the help,do you know what car 5bolt roters will fit the mustang II ? I talked to my machinest this morning he says no problem!
Thanks again!

Street rod companies make them. They're MII rotors, just 5 lug.

Here's a question I've not seen before.... Does anyone make larger rotors with the STOCK 4 lug setup? I want to put bigger rotors on the Thundersnake, but already have front wheels, so I want to keep the 4 lug.

I don't think so, but you could do the granada swap and have those redrilled. :D Usually people want to get away form the 4 lug but if you have the wheels I understand where you are coming from.

Yeah, I might try a set of aftermarket cross holed rotors in stock dimentions. I'm being told it's not going to be fun stopping a 9 second car with stock MII brakes. Just looking for something a little better without killing the wallet. I already put on all stock new calipers, pads and lines. :(

Last time I looked on the Baer Brakes applications .pdf, they had a 4 lug brake system for the II's. The 5 lug was under "street rod".
