You dont have to remove the MM SFC at all... you can just buy the jacking rails and the Fit kit and use the MM SFC as part of the installation. The kit is designed to be used with any SFC you want as long as they are full length.
The benefit of using the stifflers full kit is that the SFC already have the spots cleaned that you weld.

I haven’t installed the MM kit yet. I guess it comes down to what’s an easier install? If it’s just removing the PC I might stick with what I have and add the fit parts

Pretty much, the sfc come with taped spots that are clear of pc. Makes it easy to see where everything should line up

Tracking down some fittings for the hydroboost. The cheap ones that are frequently sold to leak so I wanted to use a setup that had a crush washer to seal.

I purchased the same one I used on the PS pump for the 16mm port (red cap in pic) but it’s on backorder for a month. For the 18mm port I wanted to use a banjo to clear the wiper motor.

unfortunately the bolt is 1mm too long and bottoms out before I can start to tighten it. Need to find a slightly shorter banjo, or machine this one down a tad.

once I get these fitting sorted out I can build my hoses and fill the system with fluid

So I need to mount my Alternator fuse somewhere. Two options.

I know this is an ANL fuse holder but I returned it to order a similar mega fuse holder. But a pic is a pic.

So, do I bury it in the fender where I can’t easily reach it, or so I cleanly mount it on the under fender under the MAF where it will be out of sight, but easy access?

it will be a 125 amp fuse. Odds of it blowing? Prob never. But do I bury it out of sight or not?

Make sure that it is in an accessible location. If you ever need to replace it you will be glad of this.

You should hide it cause your engine bay it's clean, me I just put it in kinda plain site and my old 3g did take it out once( not bad for around 75,000 miles)

I’ll leave it accessible, but tuck it somewhere out of sight.

I need to do the same with the starter relay. I’m using a Bosche style relay since I have the 92+ mini starter.

but here’s the distribution block mounted. No need to extend wires other than the coil wire. I still need to run the battery wire. The two think cables are 4ga welding cable for the starter and alt. They will hook to the right side of the block

What’s an Anal fuse block? And why are you trying to hide it?

Ok. We have power.

finished my wiring and tossed the battery in and she powered up. I don’t have the headlight harness in yet though, but for some reason I didn’t have any GUAGE pod lights so I’ll need to look into that.

I do need a new battery. This one is fugly now

mostly wired. Still need to wire in the relay for the starter. No wires were extended for this, but I will need to extend the ac compressor wire and the coil power wire.

I do need to reloom the headlight harness and install this. Next project

Next dilemma.

taking the bosche 75 amp relay that powered my fan and using it for the starter. It’s run reliably for 20 years.

do I bury it, or mount it somewhere accessible?

I’d just hate to do it in a parking lot one day, but at the same time it’s a robust relay.

I do have towing. I’d just rather not use it. Maybe I’ll keep it exposed so I can bridge the terminals if ever needed p

Have you had the fender and liner test fitted in place yet?
You may be surprised what's all going to keep the liner from fitting,I see a few things that may need to be reworked/routed for the liner to fit.

I have been test fitting the inner fenders as I’ve been working on this. You are right, it’s tighter than you think. I’ve had to make a few tweaks, but I think what I have will work.

I am going to grab the fender and do a full mock up. Would be worth checking at this point.
