My 1993 Mustang LX Project

My project is nearing the end ( is it every really done? ). Here is some updated pics. The car started life as a 4 cyl. My 5.0 was in rough shape, so the swap was on. It has been nearly two years in the making ( a wife, child, home, job all interfere with this project ). Almost everything has been replaced, repainted, and repaired and the original black interior from the 5.0 is still in great shape. I want to thank iwashmycar, as he had a great thread on how to swap the rear seats from a 1996 into a fox. Thanks alot. Here are some pics. Let me know what you think, positive or negative. Enjoy

It has been a lot time coming, but there are still a few trim pieces still missing and a few small odds and ends to finish up. I cannot wait to start driving this car. Thanks :flag:

My buddy powdercoats on the side. He did the intake, egr spacer, valve covers, throttle bracket and radiator brackets. He still has to do the prop rod, C&L intake tube, headers, and anything else that I can give him. Thanks for noticing that! JK

They are aftermarket headers. They are Hooker headers, just a little surface rust. Like I mentioned, they will be powdercoated along with a lot of other pieces under the hood. Thanks for all the positive feedback, there still a ways to go, but I am looking foward to finally driving it after two years.

I knew the air fliter was not hooked up, that is a temp until my K&N filter arrives. Good eyes on you guys.:)
As for the leather, it should be an interesting summer, only time will tell. All I can say is, I am glad I kept the a/c in the car.

you know, its weird. I used the same suspension, the 8.8 rear, the same k-member, lowering springs, controls arms, everything from the silver hatch and the ride hight changed. That's something I will look into at some point.

rigamaroles,
color changes are one of the best feeling once you see it for the first time. A buddy painted mine, jambs and all for $1500 including the cost of paint and all supplies. It came out get. He is going to paint my DD coupe as well this year ( I hope ).
