Got them installed on Friday, cleaned the car up on Saturday, and snapped some pics earlier today. Feels a lot more solid and "planted" to the road now. I'm looking for excuses to hit twisty roads just to test them out.

Haven't really had a chance to test them out with a good hard launch yet. But, it was raining when I left the shop that installed them and I had to quickly bolt across the road to beat traffic. They only spun a little bit in the rain, so I'm guessing they'd do quite well in the dry.

Thanks.

Looks good. I like the taller tires on these cars alot more than the low profile 20s! Those fill up the fender gap very nicely for a 17" tire. Your car sill stock suspension?
I'm thinking of going 245/55-18(.25" wider and 1.25" taller than my 235/50-18 now) on the rear...

Yeah, it's still the stock suspension. I'll eventually get around to putting some H&R's on it, for a minor drop, along with some good struts and shocks. Next up, more power!

I think the Marauders used a 245/55-18 on the rear. That would definitely have a more muscular look to it than the typical 255/45-18.

So how do they hook? Is it worth going this route or go a size that doesnt fit on the rim and will look weird like 275's?

As the car is now, they hook great, based on a comparison to the OEM tires. With more power, deeper gearing (like 4.10), etc might change that a bit. However, that is when suspension mods come in.

Nitto 555's

That's a great looking set of tires. I like the look of those much better than going with a 20" size wheel/tire combo. I plan on keeping my 17" rims and will definitely keep these tires in mind.
