my 393 pics

got the second set of injectors i bought in today, ( first set is still ua and the seller isnt answering emails again) couldnt wait so i went ahead and threw them in. i was itching to hear it run so i went to try and find the spacer, went to 2 race shops and both have to special order it. should have bought it while i was waiting on the injectors to get here so it would have already been here but o well nothin i can do about it now. :nonono:

hopefully tomorrow ill have it runnin, if not wed

by the way whats a good initial timing setting for a f cam?

well if you're like me you'll probably wet yourself on the first start up. A lot of blood sweat and money went into mine and it was like sweet music to my ears.....especially when I did all the work (first time ever) and it actually started!:rlaugh:

i have gone over the entire build 47,000 times in my head since putting it in the car to make sure i did everything right. my biggest worry is leaks, my 351 is a 2 piece rear main and you cant just drop the pan in a fox body so which means pulling it back out which i dont want to do until im ready to do the forged bottom end, at that time im also gonna take the time to try and come close to riceslayer302's engine bay. man that thing looks good...

as of today its 40 brotha!

what am i gonna do though? i cant prove he didnt send them just as well as he cant prove he sent them. since im in california and he is in toronto canada it wouldnt be very cost effective for me to drive all the way there just to give him a Chuck Liddel punch to the face.

ya i wont hold it against all canadians :canada: depending upon whats wrong with my engine i might be willing to swap my 42's for your 30's and the chuck liddel punch, not sure yet though.

i cranked the engine today, i removed the metal t that was hanging down and hitting the valve cover and ran it straight to the back to the pcv valve and plugged the intake hole. i got really impatient and didnt wanna wait for the spacer so i made it work. i cant hook up the throttle linkage because it is still too close to the valve cover but i can still run it and just manually move the throttle body myself. then when i get the spacer ill take it back apart and be able to hook the pedal linkage to the bottom of the throttle body and im driveable

ive got some problems, she fired and runs but not up to par and id like to get some opinions of why. ill start a new thread in the tech section which will be sort of an addition to the bottom of this thread.
