need a tune up

i have a 1900 mustang gt. i wanna give it a tune up. i just did the oil change, im ordering a rearend cover and gasket, im getting poly motor mounts and poly trans mount. my motor shakes alot will the motor mounts help out the power a little? and now i need wires and plugs. any suggestions on brands?

Motorcraft copper plugs are the way to go imo. That's what the engine was designed to use. And as for wires, I'm running MSD wires (8.5 mm I believe) and they're great. I'd check out Accel or Taylor too.

Motormounts won't help with power.

+1 on the copper motorcraft plugs. As for wires, there are tons of good wires. I like the 9mm Ford racing wires myself

+1 on the Ford Racing wires. Poly motor mounts are going to make your car shake more.

i run 8.5 mm msd wires and ngk tr55 copper plugs.

I hate those poly bushing IMO they are squeaky as hell down the road. and make the car ride stiff.

I'ld go with 1 step colder plug, FRPP 9mm wires or ACCEL 300+, Davis Unified Ignition systems TFI module and coil, advance the timing, set TPS voltage. That will wake the beast up.
