This is my current set up.
New GT-40X Turbo Swirl Aluminum Cylinder Heads
Gt-40 intake w/65 mm throttle body.
Stock bottom end motor(89 LX 5.0) w/50,000 original miles.
I'm having the new heads, throttle body, and intake ported, gasket matched ,and bench flowed by a well known/experienced head specialist. I know the GT-40 intake is no good past 5500 rpm. But I'm keeping it anyway. I don't want to spin the stock block past 5500 either. I use an NX custom plate between the 2 halfs of the intake and shoot 150 HP at it. I'm looking for as much power out of this set up without drivability issues. Can anyone help? Or steer me towards a site that can give me help? I'm also waiting for a response from the head specialist. Just thought I would ask for advice here also.

Call one of the cam experts and have them set you up a custom, it won't be cheap, but it will insure you only have to do this once.
I have my own local guy, but seems the guys here like Ed curtis and Jay Allen.
Possibly call comp cams also.

And if your guy is an expert he won't be gasket matching, he'll be port matching.

He is port matching. But he also matches the gaskets to the ports.
