So I got a 86 fox about a year ago with a 92 EFI roller motor and I'm rebuilding it and switching to carborated I pritymuch have everything done exsept for the valve train im looking and a set of heads with .550 max lift and the comp 35-302-8 and I'm thinking 1.6 stud rockers would that be cutting it to close with the springs? Also I couldn't find if it had the fuel pump lobe on it or not any help is appreciated.

That cam is for a Mass Air Car with 3.55 or 3.73 gears , not a carb. Also the exhaust lift is .534. Are you asking if .550 springs are strong enough? Depends on the spring and what type of cam. You always want to match the springs to the cam. I'd also check the PTV clearance.

Why are you going backward to a carb?
What heads are you looking at?

This is a question from me related to this post. Does the 92 EFI block have an opening to install a mechanical fuel pump? I ask because the OP was wondering about the fuel pump lobe.
