After finally finding out that the dealer I ordered my GT from has an allotment of 1 GT per month, and that there were 9 orders ahead of mine, then being told 8-10 weeks when in fact it was going to be closer to 8-10 months, I cancelled and got my deposit back (I ordered back in March). So, has anyone here had any good dealings with any dealers in the the northern NJ/southeast NY area? I would like to try and order an 06 GT in the next week or so, hopefully getting it before the snow is here :D . Thanks, Kevin

I used Pistilli. Since then, I visited Mahwah, Tenafly/Park Ave, and Stadium, and was basically told 10-12 weeks, but they wouldn't tell me their allotment and where I would fit in that allotment, ie, my priority. I've seen many posts here where dealers were very open about their allotments. I considered Shultz, but my brother had a bad experience with them when he ordered his 01 Bullitt, but maybe I'll stop by and see what they say. Thanks, Kevin

also check david ford on rt 303 in orangeburg it is about 10 min away from shultz its off exit 5 or 6 on the palisades. they wont do x plan but the have a few saleens and seem pretty large

theres a ford dealer in Morristown that will take X-plan but call the salemanager and find out.......I was going to use them but found someone else in jersery to use,,,about 3 weeks ago they were taking X-Plan for the 2006s,talk to sales manger and not salesperson..Johnny

I got my at Valley Ford in NJ... he wouldn't do X-plan on the Mustangs but he did give it to me for MSRP actually a little below if you count what he gave me for my trade (quite a bit more then it was worth)

The owner gets involved with the sales and makes sure ppl are taken care of. He actually calls the shots on the deal and OK's the numbers and all that probably not normal but it's a smallish dealer not a big huge one.
