Need info on 18x8.5 tire size please

I'm going to be getting new tires soon - I currently have 245/40/18 on the 18x8.5 rim. Is it possible to go to a 265/35/18 on the same 18x8.5 rim? I'm going to be getting Nitto NT555 Extremes if that helps. Thanks in advance!!

You could go 265/35/18 all around or 275/35/18 all around.. or like me, the 265's in front, and 275's in back

Thanks! I forgot to mention for the rear I have 18x9.5. Should I still go with the 275 or go with 285's again? or even 295

I would do the 285/35 rear and 265/35 front in that case

Hmmmm.....I wonder if it would be worth it to get the DR for the rear.....would they somewhat match tread for the fronts - Nitto 555 and 555r?
