Finally, after more than 7 years since tearing down the donor car, getting ready to put finishing touches on the engine in my 67. I need some help, though, as I have lost my razor-sharp memory to tell me where everything goes.

Engine is a 5.0, stroked to 347, with Trick Flow heads and intake, mated to a T5, all out of a 91 LX. I'm not running the emissions stuff. I have the stock wiring harnesses, with the engine harness mostly installed.

I would appreciate any links or copies of detailed pictures, diagrams, schematics, etc.

Specific questions I have (right now):
1. Large threaded hole on back D/S of upper intake-what goes there? (see Pic #2 below)
2. Vacuum lines: Routing, along with which ones I still need after the emissions delete
3. Two large threaded holes in back of heads, that I can get most of my fingertip into--what goes there? Do they need to be plugged?
4. Accessories/belt routing
5. Coolant hoses/heater hoses routing

THANKS!

#1 this is plumbed to the vacuum tree which feed vacuum to the brake booster, fuel pressure regulator, heater controls, cruise control etc..
#2 sorry I don't have a diagram
#3 these are emissions ports in the heads. Trick flow sells a special plug for them or in the past I have used a bolt and sealer to plug the holes in a pinch. I would recommend getting the right plugs
#4 do you have a standard or reverse rotation water pump?
#5 one small bypass goes from the water pump to the water neck the other goes from the water pump to the black rail that runs along your intake. The back of that rail feeds your heater core

Hope this was helpful

intake looks famliar. I sanded of the trickflow script also

#2 goes to brake booster on mine. If youre running vac tree you could go to a port on the tree

So if I'm not running a brake booster at all, then I should just plug it?

I don't think I'm going to need anywhere near all the vacuum ports I already have on the bottom of the intake, with all the emissions gone.

I like the look without the TF logo, but it sure didn't polish up as good as I would have liked it to.

yeah you can plug it or run to the large port on vac tree. Thats one thing about the aluminum that Trick Flow uses, tough to get a really nice polish. Masonozz recomended heating it which did help some, but not enough for me.

Assuming the holes in the heads are the same size as the ones in the stock E7s, you can just go to the hardware store and get some 5/8-11 coarse thread plugs. The ones that Trick Flow sells have a 7/16-14 internal thread in case you want to use them to mount accessories.
