New BBK throttle body makes a clicking noise? Help

So I have just purchased a BBK 78mm Throttle body. All the connections are hooked back up and where they are suppose to be but upon starting the car im getting a rather loud clicking noise. Any ideas as what this could be? Could there be any real engine damage to improper installation? Thanks.

No you won't have any damage from an improper TB installation unless you droped a screw into the intake manifold. As for the clicking I don't see how a TB would make your engine click. The clicking usualy comes from your lifters and maybe because your TB is bigger it makes your lifters sound louder for some reason Also make sure it's on tight it could me a seal issue.

hey buddy thanks for the reply, i fixed it. I simply forgot the small plastic bearing that goes on the tpi shaft.
