The silencer has been removed and I do plan on doing an intake in the near future. Just bought property and I'm starting to build a house so I doubt the intake will happen for a few months but something may change if I found a good deal. I have removed the 25 lb cowl weight but not the dog bone. I also removed the jute from the trunk and under the back seat but did not remove jute from under the carpet due to the noise inside of the car. I would guess the car weighs about 3700 but that is just a guess. It is full trim with all options so it isn't light. I want to mildly mod it to get to a low 14 or high 13 and then add a poke of NOS to get me to a 13 flat. I don't plan on doing heads but will pull off my heads this winter and remove the emissions hump and do a slight porting to get a little extra out of them. Might get a cam also but not sure yet.

Actually it's about 15*, could this be to far. As long as I run 92+ I havn't been getting detonation.

I have to keep my timing at 8 until I firgure out whats wrong with my car it pings at 10 degrees. I think it might be my egr. Plus I get better gas mileage. I don't ever drive that fast on the street so why keep it higher. When I go to the track i run it at 14-16. I have a msd timing timing box is so it takes one sec to change.

your computer wont know it is permantnely removed till u remove it via TwEEcEr or custom tune...

so your computer will always have a red flag waving in its database...

will it affect anyting performance wise...

depends if your car is a nasty bitch or now...

some cars seem to not mind, others act like they got their period.

When I removed my EGR (during header install) it caused my check engine light to stay on. There is a post on here that tells you how to correct this but since I was already having a custom chip made for my car I asked them if they could fix that and they did.
