New GT owner with a question

Hey guys. I just traded in my Dodge SRT-4 for a 2007 Mustang GT with the California Special upgrade. I have to say it is a lot different than the SRT but in a really good way. I love it and I keep finding excuses to drive it. The question I have is kind of dumb but I can't figure it out; How do I open the hood on the car? I popped the hood from inside but cannot find the latch. Sorry if it sounds stupid but any help would be appreciated.

it's kinda trick to find. Just slip your hand in there once you popped it and feel around for a lever that moves to the right, i think it's on the left side of the pony. Move it to the right, then pop the hood up! I am 99% sure that is correct, but don't quote me on it!

Look into the gap between the hood and grille. You'll see a yellow lever in the rad cover on the right of ther pony emblem. Push it to the left and lift the hood.
