New Intake Manifold? Who should i get.

Ok my warranty ran out two weeks before my intake manifold cracked. For the price ford wants i can probally get a better one for cheaper. The only ones i see though is the one on FRPP (and on ebay) That PI intake manifold seems to be plastic as well. Anyone know a good one i can get not made of plastic so i dont have this problem again.

Nice If anyone else knows any other places ill try to look at as many as possible.

all 4.6 manifolds are plastic there is a couple of aluminum ones that are rumored to be coming out but I think your car will rot in place waiting for one of those at this point .. the updated ones have a metal crossover in the front that is the only place they break, many many cars use a composite/plastic manifold and don't have problems.

You ain't gonna fid a better price than the KarKraft one I linked you to... Unless you buy that "new" one some admin keeps trying to pawn off

Is karkraft any good or should i just stick with the FRPP replacement

KarKraft site is selling the OEM part my friend. It IS the Ford part.

On a side note ... When you have your intake off, it is a good idea to change your spark plugs because they are easy to get to and I also cleaned my injectors ... Just thought I'd suggest ...

sounds good im going to buy the part after i get paid and have the guy who owns the shop down the road put it on. I wont be here. Any other parts i might need? Trying just to pay for labor if i can.
