New pics, HDR technique.

Hey guys, not sure if you guys have heard of hdr. Its when you take three exactly same picture but at 3 different exposures and then merge them together. We decided to put my buddys 20D to the test and this is how they came out. Car was VERY dirty but oh well.

lol MOTHER F'ER yea yea I still dont know how to fix it, its something with my bumper that it dosent line up I think, its not the bumpers or the latch.

And ther setting was perfect, cause of ernesto.Though in person the clouds didnt look that threatning, its all in the hdr.

We're startin to see the effects of ernesto here right now. Its raining like hell. Hopefully all of this crap will move to NC by saturday, I'll be in daytona saturday and I dont want it to suck.

Man we didnt see anything, only thi ng i noticed was school was canceled! haha but it was just gloomy outside drizzled every once and a while, winds werent bad at all, and it poured for about 20 minutes at like 7pm thats it.

those pics are nice, i just prefer to keep them as realistic looking as possible...to me those look more like paintings...which isnt a bad thing, just not what im going for

yea those are really nice, I really like the pepsi and the bridge one. I havent expieremented with doing the hdr in photoshop yet so i was just relying on this douche ^^^^ to do it, but he likes the real looking pics with alittle affect to them, i like the all out hdr's ill have to pull out the diggy and do it myself! haha

as long as you can manually set the exposures than it should.

i take the 3 different pics and then i use photomatrix to merge them and tonemap them, and photoshop to sharpen and resize.

cool, I can't stand to have my car that dirty unless I'm reallly busy. Thats awesome though that pace car got hit by rain and I had nice topdown cool breeze weather lol
