I have a stock 5.0 95' and I am interested in a Pro-m maf calibrated to 30lb injectors on classifieds. I hope to soon get a eddy performer 5.0. First of all, would i need a new fuel pump to provide for the 30lb injectors. Also, since im not running boost, is it nec. to get 30lb inj, will it help me out hp or torque wise? Thanks a lot! -Matt

it all depends on what the rest of your mods are. I doubt very much that you need #30 Injectors if your not blown. Most of the time the stock #19's can handel up to 300 RWHP. How much is the Pro-M meter going for b/c you can buy it and send it back and have it recalibrated for #19's but its about $100 to do that.

Pro-M 80 MM units are going for under $250 brand new on Ebay, keep that in mind.

Yea thats what i was thinking. I just ordered a mafterburner, could I calibrate it with that? Also, I have an offroad H pipe that was put on before i got the car. These are the mods i have been considering: New shorties- jba, trick flow twisted wedge heads and performer 5.0 intake. Would you recommend those as my first few mods? THanks a lot-Matt.

I'm not sure if the mafterburner will allow for different injectors. I think Pro M makes a unit that allows you to adjust the fuel via a connector from the MAF but I can't remember what they call it. The JBA shorties should work fine along with a good cat-back. After the exhaust I would go with the Performer and a 65mm tb. Don't forget that 3.55 or 3.73s are a great first mod.

I currently have 3.55 and no cats so you also say 65mm tb..What brand would be the best?

Sorry to change the topic, but i was browsing ebay the other night and I found a crate engine; chevy 350 heres the link. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33615&item=7905202962&rd=1

It appears to be too good of a deal. What do you guys think? Because I might just save some money and eventaully purchase a crate engine, I no the process would be a b**** but i believe it would be cheaper and better than a charger. Thanks a lot.
