was going to go with 245/35/18 front and 275/35/18 rears...just wondering if this is a good setup or if anyone had any other suggestions...car has lowering springs in it as well. thanks.

245mm would be a little narrow for a 9" wheel, although you see many people using that size. The correct sizes would be 255mm, 265mm, or 275mm for that wheel, but not all wheels are made with the correct optimization for your car. At any rate, make sure the overall diameter is the same as the stock tires for non-racing applications. I noted the tires you had listed are not equivilent diameters and differ from each other by more than .75 inches. You may also need to correct the speedo with that size front tire (???). Common combinations for Fox cars would be 255mm all around or 255/275 staggered. On a SN95 a common combination would be 275 all around or 275/305 or 315 staggered. S197 cars have more options.

so maybe i should go 255/275...i would rather a wider tire all around so long as i have proper clearance...i bought a new speedo gear since i have 3:73's so hopefully that will bring me close enough...
