I'm gettin new shocks/struts for x-mas finally but i need to know which ones. I always wanted to go w/ tockico adjustables. However, a buddy of mine has an import and he's blown 2 of them. He's done alot of research on suspension. I dont know if it's cuz he has an import car and they're made better for stangs? He told me to go with koni yellows. What are ur opinions on this. BTW i have a 03 GT with Eibach Sportlines.

I would go with bilsteins and don't look back. they are cheaper than the koni's yellows. the koni's are nice but $$$$ and most people will not use the double adjustment. they also make single adjustables but they are still more than the bilsteins.
Now the tokico's are proably fine if you get the right spring to match it but the bilsteins are more forgiving quality wise they just don't have issues on lowered cars like tokico can. internal stops, etc. So in may case the piece of mind was worth the extra $30
when I was looking the koni's were around $100 more than the bilsteins for the red and the yellow double adjustable were very expensive like $900 a set. I looked at all of them and if you want a high end setup without worring about quality and minimizing cost the bilsteins just seemed like a no brainer.

I would look into strange adjustables. Not too expensive and heard good things about them. That's my next shock/strut kit.

ebay is king of the pricing when it comes to bilsteins. I got mine from a guy off there.
I would not run the strange stuff with your spring setup.
cheaper shocks and struts don't mix with high spring rates on lowered cars. there is math that mixes into ride hieght and strut and shock hieght. it should not be ignored. If you did do it definatly go with the fox body models of any cheaper setup. they are 1" shorter so there is not a big of a missmatch. bilsteins are designed different so it is the same part number either ride height. running compressed does not blow them out like other brands from what I have read.

you would want the normal hd's I think. the eibach sprotline springs are listed as 425-630lb per inch on a site I found.
you could always call MM or bilstein to verify. I would not be all to trusting of message board info. I mean I don't like to brag about my IQ of 76 but I have been wrong once in my life. ha ha
they are not really a stiff spring I but they do lower a fair amount so I would want a decent dampner if you want it to last. One thing you will notice if you seach alot of suspention threads are people bitching about thier setups because of mixed and matched springs and shocks etc.

You can stock height S/S without having many problems. I am doing it now with my 98 cobra and sportline springs, i lost my last pair of S/S due to being totalled, might aswell try just the springs with the stock setup, but they won't last i can tell you that.
