Hello everyone.Im new to the forums and would just like to introduce myself and my car to everyone.Names Rich,feel free to email me anytime.

MSD 6aln ignition w/ C4 coil
12 degrees tdc w/7 stage retard to 27 degrees tdc @5200 rpm's
MSD Distributor-8455 pro billet
10.4mm taylor wires/still on motorcraft plugs
Venom 400 module(Yes it really works)
BBK underdrive pulleys /ac and smog pump eliminator kits
24 lb injectors/BBK fuel pressure regulator
BBK 255 lph in tank pump

Ive removed the backseat as well as all the foam from bumpers and body panels(Extremely noisy---But isnt that what we want )Taken out all the noise dampening material in the interior panels and under the carpet.Removal of the smog pump and ac was a big help in the weight department.Removed the mach 460 and all components for it including all wiring.Several other small reductions that add up to alot have been done but too much to list.Basically,other than the sound and gauges,my car is a true sleeper.Ive kept the bone stock look throughout the whole car as much as possible.Im not really a track guy,I just love to dust the imports.

Next,Im looking into a tweecer first,suspension and then its time for some brakes!

Also,when are they gonna make a cornfuel mod for the stangs?

Well,ive done the best job I could at this point on my own.I already feel the potential of this car,but I know im in desperate need of a tune.So thats where the tweecer comes in.My brother works for the engine shop at rabee racing and thankfully I can get the tune for free and spend all day on the dyno if need be.

Then,suspension.Ive had my car for 10 years now and have learned to launch it without breaking the tires.But,nowadays the throttle response is so crisp that those days are far and few in between.After a tune,im gonna need to plant the rear on the ground.Here I have problem,I want to set my suspension up to both launch and take corners.This is my street car and I have to be able to stick the corners at a decent speed(at least as fast as a zo6 ),but that initial launch is so important,that I dont want a full blown roadrace type set up.I need to find something in the middle,and I know nothing about suspension at all.

And then the one I really should have done a long time ago!Brakes.Ive grown to both love and RESPECT my stang and all its glories and flaws.Ive always known the brakes fade very quickly(especially in florida),so if im gonna run it,I try to keep to a rural road outside of town with plenty of braking distance.Again,I know the need for better brakes exists,but up till recently I never really used them to the point of fading.Ive heard alot of good things about the cobra brakes.But im not sure there gonna perform when I get my car to where I want it.Down the road I really want to put a single turbo on my stang!Id like to see around 600-650 hp at the rear.But,expense outweighs the need right now.Still,Im gonna do the brakes well before I pull the motor.

Yes ,as a matter of fact I do.Im kinda oldschool and just learned to use a digital camera.I need to figure out how to get them on my computer and then post them without hosting them(or do I have to host them).I really am green to the whole picture thing.Im a gamer at heart and really never payed to much attention to pictures.As embarassing as it is,I will figure this out lol.

did I miss something? are your only go fast mods the gears and exhaust? If so then you don't really need a tune?

Ohh im quite sure I need to have the car calibrated and tuned,its never been done.I need the tweecer anyways to turn off various things ive removed from the car.May as well take full advantage of it and tweak my car the best it can be done.
And anyways-Ive seen stock mustangs gain 35+ hp from an sct tune alone right off the showroom floor.So I dont really understand the point your trying to make.Even if not to gain power but to ensure a correct a/f ratio and other parameters to keep my motor together in its high mileage seems worth it to me.

I wasn't saying it was a bad idea but I was just suggesting that it wasn't necessary. there is nothing wrong with your plan especially if you are getting a tweecer where you can modify the tune as you modify the engine! I'd suggest the RT model if you can afford it.

Not to be a dick...but there's some things in your mod list that I really don't understand.

Is there really a "roadrace version" of the 3550? I honestly have no idea. Just sounds weird.

You mean you have a driveshaft loop? Why? Pretty sure IHRA and NHRA both require this only for cars ETing below 13.0 or below 13.5 on slicks.

BBK mass air and BBK throttlebody(75mm)

When did BBK start making MAFs? That 75mm throttle body is likely killing your intake velocity and hurting you powerwise.

Doesn't the Venom thing advance your timing? I thought that was basically it's only function.

Yeah, if you're running no smog and no EGR, the Tweecer will allow you to shut off their functions in the ECU. You'll also probably want to ditch the Venom thing with the Tweecer and reset your timing to 10*. You'll be able to adjust timing via the Tweecer.

Welcome man! I wish I bought the Tweecer earlier, so good call on that one. It does wonders on all cars no matter if its stock/modified. Where in Florida are you? For hosting pictures try photobucket.com, free and easy to use.

As for the comments as to why have a driveshaft loop, why not have one? They are around $40, and will save your ass when your driveshaft/yoke/joints let go.
