New to me 93 lx. Have a couple questions.

Whats up everyone. I have a couple questions that I was hoping to get a little help with. Just to give a quick background on the car. It was bought here locally in Tampa new and made its way up to chicago a couple years after. My cousin bought it then and has had it ever since. I bought it from him and its now back in St. Pete almost 20 years later. As it sits now it has a CAI, headers, 70mm throttle body, edelbrock intake manifold, cam swap, some head work, and added 3.73 gears. I really don't know what was done in the heads for sure. The front springs were heated at some point to lower the front end. I want to replace them. I want to get the front up maybe an inch but the problem is I'm not sure how it sits now in relation to a stock setup so im not sure what springs to buy. Lastly for now, as I understand there isn't much of a need for any tuning correct? Or should something be done? If someone could give me some info on this that would be awesome. Here are two pics of the car. 1st is how it was when I bought it. Second is after I repainted the front to get rid of the purple. New rims are going on after I get the spring situation settled.

Do a search for pictures foxes with FRPP B & C springs, steeda sports (my preference), eibach, H&R, etc. There are LOTS of "what kind of springs" threads on here. Don't waste money a tune. You won't need one until you throw a blower/turbo or have some crazy H/C/I combo. The stock computer does a great job on handling mild combos.

I'd use the eibach pro lowering kit NOT the sportline.
Best looks IMO, good handling fair ride quality.
While you are at it get energy suspension isolator kit for all 4 springs.

taco is right, no tuning needed.

As far as how the car will look? If you look at my pics, they are with saleen progressive rate springs (by eibach) and the eibach pro kit gives a similar look.

Hey man welcome to the forums, i live around 54th ave no and 66th right now. Moving to Largo next friday car is basically being used to store non perishable foods right now. But there are a couple of us on here in the Pinellas county area. PM if you ever need a hand with some grunt work. Also if you don't know check the local boards at Tampa Racing - TR News if you are going to buy used parts I have gotten some really good deals off that board so far.

Awesome advice right here. I wish I would have replaced my Isolators while I was installing my springs. DO it and save yourself a headache of doing it later. I just bought front and rear Prothane set off 50resto. $45 for the set.

Could you possibly measure the height from the ground to your fender. I'm just trying to get an idea of how my height is now compared to what it might be after the new springs. Thanks,

Mike, my numbers aren't going to be accurate, i have a completely different engine that is likely heavier, the front now has coil overs, and my battery is in the hatch.
The pics of my car are my old setup, so you can reference them, but measuring now probably won't help.
